More than 1,200 of San Francisco's children are victims of abuse and neglect and are living in foster care. San Francisco CASA recruits, screens, trains, and supervises volunteers who advocate for and mentor these children one- on-one, helping to find safe and permanent homes for them and addressing their educational, healthcare, and other urgent needs.
